And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

YOU'RE HERE !

YOU MADE IT!!

Welcome to our wedding website! We've created this site as a convenient and interactive way to share all of the important details with you leading up to our wedding. We can't wait to celebrate this exciting new chapter of our lives together with you.

How We Met

Our story began on January 1, 2020, after the midnight service at church. It was there that Rhea and Nikhil first crossed paths, and from that moment, a beautiful friendship began to blossom.
In the weeks that followed, we spent countless hours chatting on the phone, enjoying coffee dates, and sharing movie nights. Our connection deepened with each conversation and shared experiences. We quickly realised that our bond was something special and worth exploring further.
After much prayer and consideration, we both knew that this was more than just a friendship. We each spoke to our families and shared our belief that “this person is the one!!”. Our shared passions — our faith, adventures, traveling, and love for good food—drew us even closer together.
Despite our professional ambitions leading us to a long-distance relationship, our love only grew stronger. As the saying goes, "Absence makes the heart grow fonder," and it certainly did for us.

The Proposal

Fast forward four years,  by the grace of God, Rhea’s work transfer to Auckland was approved. Nikhil made the journey to Wellington to assist Rhea with her move, but he had a surprise in store that she wasn’t expecting.
On Christmas Eve, Nikhil took Rhea to the breathtaking wind farms at Makara to execute 'the plan'. Although the weather was less than ideal, he wasn’t deterred. Amidst the wind and fog, he got down on one knee and asked the most important question of his life. With tears of joy streaming down her face, Rhea said “Yes!”
